A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

A BETTER Story

Dear Friend,

This Christmas, we are asking the Lord to help us write better stories.

Not because we are the authors. We are not. Christ is. He is the One who enters broken places and brings light. The One who meets the poor, the sick, the lonely, and the forgotten right where they are. The One who changes lives, for His glory, in ways we never could.

And in His kindness, He lets us take part in His plans. That is what Compassionate Christmas is about.

When you give through this catalog, you help a child stay in school. You help a baby receive nutrition. You help a widow receive food and care. You help a village receive clean water. You help a pastor carry the Gospel into a place where many have not yet heard the name of Jesus.

This year, you will meet people like Durga, whose life changed through prayer from a village pastor. You will read about baby Antonia, whose grandmother carried her to our nutrition center in desperate need of help. You will meet Sakhina, a girl who once dreamed of the classroom as she worked the fields and is now graduating from university.

The stories in this catalog are not finished. And that is the good news. So, turn the page. Find one that moves you. And be part of the stories that God is writing.

Thank you for opening this catalog. For caring about the poor of our time. And, for believing with us that God is still writing stories of mercy, rescue, faith, and hope.

May your Christmas be full of joy, gratitude, and the light of Christ.

Merry Christmas,
