Smriti knew the mudpaths of Kolkata by heart.
In the slums and red-light areas, she found little ones that others had learned to overlook. Children with no safe place to go who needed someone to keep coming back.
Smriti called children by name. She prayed with them, helped them go to school, and reminded them they were seen, loved, and made in the image of God.
This year, Smriti went to be with the Lord, but the work she loved is not finished.
Children in Kolkata still need protection, education, and a path toward hope. Through Mudpaths, children at risk can receive support, schooling, prayer, and the love of Christ.
