The girl who imagined a classroom.
As Sakhina worked beside her family in the cornfields, her mind wandered. She imagined a classroom. She had only seen one once, but she dreamed of learning.
Her parents wanted that for her too, but they could barely afford food, let alone school. Through a local pastor, they learned about CRI's Rajah Children's Home, where Sakhina would receive an education, loving care, and the opportunity to learn about Jesus.
Today, after 11 years of support, Sakhina is preparing to graduate from university. When asked what brings her joy, she simply said, "I am happy because of the love God has for me."
