Merry Christmas, friends!
In the book of Matthew, Jesus shares that when we show love and care for the least among us, we are also showing love and care to Him. And in doing so, He tells us that we can hope to hear these words someday:

“Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”

This is a powerful invitation to serve Christ, as our generosity reflects His love for the oppressed and poor. And faithful action is accompanied by the promise that He will find our generosity and service pleasing. What a humbling thought!

As you and your family scroll through the pages, I invite you to learn about CRI and our amazing missionaries who are helping babies, widows, orphans, refugees, and those who do not know Christ to experience His light through Word and deed ministries. And, as you learn, I hope you will feel compelled to generously help, as your generosity will bring shelter to the homeless, water to the thirsty, food to the hungry, love to the widow, knowledge to the uneducated, healing to the sick, hope to the persecuted, and salvation to the lost.

May your Christmas season be filled with thanksgiving, peace, and joy.
